Passionate about drawings since my childhood, I discovered in 2019 the Inktober challenge. Created in 2009, it aims to make his brain work by drawing a black and white drawing every day in October on an imposed keyword.
The list is unveiled on October 1 and you must draw and publish every day on Instagram with the hashtag #inktber the drawing of the day.
Here are my creations below:

This year, I really enjoyed the themes of Inktober, even though at times it was a real puzzle to choose which drawing would best fit the theme of the day… I am also participating in Inktober52 this year, and you can follow the weekly posts on Instagram (@lesaventuresdeecco).
Inktober is an exciting annual challenge that takes place every October, encouraging artists around the world to create and share ink drawings. Founded by artist Jake Parker in 2009, Inktober started as a personal project to improve his inking skills and has since blossomed into a global phenomenon.
The premise is simple: artists are challenged to create one ink drawing each day throughout the month of October. Each day has a specific prompt, providing inspiration and direction for the artwork. These prompts range from abstract concepts to specific themes, sparking creativity and pushing artists to think outside the box. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or a beginner with a sketchbook, Inktober welcomes all artists to participate.
Participating in Inktober is more than just creating art; it’s also about building a community. Artists share their daily creations on social media platforms using the hashtag #Inktober. This fosters interaction, feedback, and inspiration among participants, allowing them to connect with fellow artists from all corners of the globe. The sense of camaraderie and encouragement makes the challenge even more enjoyable.
In addition to the daily drawings, many artists use Inktober as an opportunity to experiment with new techniques, styles, and tools. Whether it’s trying out a different type of ink, exploring various brushes, or developing a unique character design, Inktober becomes a creative playground for all who join.
As the month progresses, participants can look back on their journey, reflecting on their growth and the stories their artworks tell. The final days of October are often filled with excitement as artists share their completed collections, celebrating their hard work and creativity.
In summary, Inktober is a fantastic way to challenge yourself, improve your skills, and connect with a vibrant community of artists. So grab your pens, let your imagination flow, and dive into the wonderful world of Inktober!
